Staying at the Palace

Hotel Palace Viareggio is a historic Art Nouveau building. Built in 1913, it was transformed into a Hotel in 1922; in the early 1960s the Marcucci Family bought the property, renovating it. The restyling that took place between 2018 and 2023, was marked by the recovery and preservation of all the furnishings. In the room, the bathroom has been completely renovated as well as new are the Dorelan mattresses, pillows and TV; while the furniture and where possible the parquet flooring, have been properly restored, so original from 1960. Even in the common areas the floors and furnishings have been preserved; the Bar is original from 1960, as are the Murano drop chandeliers. The feeling upon entering the Hotel is of an experience marked by the architectural history of the early 20th century. The "Belle Epoque" room, where breakfast is served, is an example of skillful recovery and preservation of retro furnishings, which combined with the use of precious wallpaper create an atmosphere of yesteryear. The uniqueness of the structure has meant, that for some time now, the Bars and Restaurants of the Hotel have become a location frequented by the locals; a concept that fits perfectly with what is our desire, to make the Hotel live not only for the Tourists who stay there, but also for the Versilians.

The experience of living the Palace and the sea as one, is fully enjoyed on the Terrace, where every evening you can admire the sunset over the Gulf of Poets.

The bathing establishment with swimming pool "La Pace," which has an agreement with us, is located right in front of the Palace.

Parking is available on the street in the adjacent areas with a daily rate agreed upon with the municipality.
